Ashley richmond

I mainly work with acrylic medium on a variety of different sized canvases to explore topics of self-identity, Italian culture, human connectivity, and nostalgia. These themes, in combination with my chosen medium, inspire me to use dramatic shadowing and a colour blocking technique that creates unique figures. The utilization of statues and relics within my work help reinforce my identity by allowing me to blend the past with the current moment.
