KRISTA WISE

I love the human body, animals, nature and how we interact in our space. Taking a stance of observation on the details in our world and how they are, I am inspired by my surroundings. As a gardener I take plenty of time outside and in the natural world. My research is my remembering to breathe and look at the world around me. Some of my work is very personal in that way. It is whimsical as much as it is meditative of state and being. I like to think most of my works are explorative and reminiscent, conscious of times and spaces I experience.
