LUNA ROSE

They/Them. I am a queer and (dis)Abled artist and writer living and making on stolen Lekwungen, Stoney Nakoda, and T’suut’ina territory. My practice is interdisciplinary – photographs, video, found objects, painting and textiles have all made their way into my work. Through these mediums I seek to understand how memory is held within the body, how it influences identity and sexuality, and how the act of making can be transformative to memories once associated with trauma. My work is visceral and personal, a constant narrative, a steady stream of the conscious and unconscious self.
